Ceramic Bowl One '23

Ceramic

This hand-thrown vessel features a distinct bulbous, tapered profile that rests on a clean, narrow base. The exterior is coated in a rich, dark slate blue glaze that shifts subtly into deep teal and charcoal undercurrents where it breaks across the structural curve. The interior basin reveals a smooth, highly reflective surface with concentric rings formed during the throwing process, capturing the natural fluid pooling of the kiln-fired glaze. This piece highlights a careful balance between geometric contouring and the organic, rich depth of deep-toned surface treatments.
