This series merges threatened animals from the IUCN Red List into single organisms to highlight global habitat loss. To make a heavy topic easy to digest, I sculpt these creatures with a friendly, nostalgic, teddy bear-like aesthetic. This approachable design invites viewers to connect deeply with wildlife conservation rather than turning away from it. This piece combines a Bonobo and a Tiger. Bonobos (Pan paniscus) are Endangered; they are found only in the Democratic Republic of Congo, where their populations face severe pressure from illegal poaching and civil unrest. Tigers (Panthera tigris) are globally listed as Endangered, with their wild numbers heavily depleted due to rampant habitat fragmentation and historical poaching across their native Asian ranges.
