This distinct display mask continues an ongoing exploration of the totally unique glass fabrication process developed independently in my studio. This piece features a bolder, more compact geometric form marked by vertical bands of vibrant opaque sky blue layered seamlessly against a translucent, clear glass body. Deep internal shading and delicate air bubbles trapped within the clear sections create a captivating lens effect, allowing light to dramatically alter the mask's appearance from different angles. Combining a stark graphic sensibility with innovative glass casting, the work beautifully balances structural weight with luminous transparency.
